Almost 50 years ago, PHONAR began its history as a manufacturer of HI-FI Speakers in Germany. In the early years, he mainly produced HI-FI Speakers for international consumer electronics brands, still known today. In the early 1980s creates his own HI-FI Speakers brand with the name PHONAR.
In 1983, the idea was put into practice and gave rise to the independent company PHONAR Akustik GmbH, which set out to produce high-quality HI-FI Speakers, whose quality was strongly related to the sound of the original music. In the following years, PHONAR was able to continuously expand its position in the market, installing a network of high quality distribution partners. The products are exported to several European countries.
The PHONAR Speakers - Bookshelf Speakers , Floorstanding Speakers, Center Channel Speakers, WIFi (Wireless) Speakers and Subwoofers - repeatedly attract attention with their excellent results in reviews of High Fidelity magazines, being highly praised. With the Veritas "Style" and Veritas "NEXT" Speakers Series, they create Speakers that convince test editors and music listeners with their tonal excellence.
In 2018, PHONAR launched the modern "Match-Air". For more than two years, a team of engineers has developed this modern active technology that, among other things, allows the music transmission files from the Internet with high resolution audio quality (Hi-Res) and distributes music wirelessly to every room in the house.
