Phono Preamplifiers
The signal from a turntable cartridge is a thousand times weaker than that of any other source and needs RIAA equalization. That is the job of the phono preamplifier. Many amplifiers come with a basic phono input. A dedicated phono preamp is almost always the most audible improvement you can make to a vinyl system.
We have phono preamplifiers for MM and MC cartridges from Heed Audio, MOON by Simaudio, Music Hall and Leben, and the full Aurorasound range, from the VIDA Prima to the VIDA Supreme, with step-up transformers and accessories for those who take vinyl seriously.
